CCTCA Convention: More

The website can be implemented in such a way that changes to content pages can be easily made by a committee webmaster (or as many committee members as necessary).  This is accomplished through the very easy to use  interface interface of the content management system. See a sample screen below:

The previous are just a few of the features that can be incorporated into a convention website.  Other items already in existence in the CCTCA website are:

  • Hosts for sessions: Convention attendees can register to host specific sessions and get a few perks.
  • Pre-registration for sessions: Some sessions have a limited space so it is necessary to pre-register.  This is done through the website.
  • Sale of items such as tickets to events or bus tickets can be done online including secure credit card payments.
  • Very extensive reporting for committee members:  Reports can be easily imported into spreadsheets such as Excel for further manipulation.
  • Space on the admin site for committee members to share ideas/documents.
